docleaf's offices are based at the BRE (Building Research
Establishment), building 9. We are only 20 miles from Central London and are
5 miles from Watford. We are situated very close to the M1 and M25. Mainline
train services from London Euston pass through Watford Junction.
Satellite navigation / online route planner users
An error in many mapping databases will give incorrect directions
to BRE if you enter our postcode. Instead, enter WD25 9NH and this will bring
you within sight of the BRE main entrance. (Please don’t use this code
when posting items to us.)

Travelling by road:
From The M25
Exit the M25 at junction 21A. Turn onto the A405,
following signs to North Watford. After approx half a mile continue straight
on at the traffic lights passing under the M1. After another half mile turn
left at the traffic lights into Bucknalls Lane (signposted Building Research
Establishment). Continue along the lane, the entrance to the BRE is on the left
just after the motorway bridge.
From The M1
Exit the M1 junction 6. Signposted A405
to North Watford if approaching from the north. Follow the tight bend of the
slip road round and join the A405 towards Watford.
After half mile turn left at the traffic lights into Bucknalls Lane (signposted
Building Research Establishment). Continue along the lane, the entrance to the
BRE is on the left just after the motorway bridge.
From the south it will be signposted A405 to St.
Albans, follow the slip road round and get into the right hand lane to North
Watford / Bricketwood. At the Traffic lights follow the road round staying in
the middle lane. After half mile turn left at the traffic lights into Bucknalls
Lane (signposted Building Research Establishment). Continue along the lane,
the entrance to the BRE is on the left just after the motorway bridge.
