Training tailored to your needs
We can provide you with training for your staff to deal with various aspects
of the crisis. This can include a general overview of crisis management or perhaps
more specific input for your individual crisis management teams. Please click

for a leaflet of some of the workshops we offer. A few examples are listed below:
Introduction to crisis management
This
one day workshop provides an in-depth grounding in why businesses need
to plan and prepare for a major crisis. How to identify different types
of crises and the level of response required. What your crisis response
teams need to know and the escalation processes that need to be in
place.
This course is recommended for those in your business who may be expected to
respond to a crisis.

Crisis leadership workshops
This
high-level workshop is orientated towards senior managers and board
members. We cover a number of key topics and round off the session with
a highly pressured 'desk top exercise', whereby participants can feel
some of the tension they would be placed under in a real crisis.
Media training
The world of media is a
fast-moving one and you only get one chance to sell your story and
deliver your message, particularly in a crisis. Reputations can be
built, or destroyed in a second. Companies need to take control of a
crisis and benefit from it otherwise someone else will.
This form of training is best suited to key senior
personnel who will act as the corporate face of your company in any
crisis situation - at home, abroad or at the crisis scene.
During this training workshop, delegates will:
- Have the opportunity to practise interview techniques on camera.
- Receive constructive feedback on their personal techniques.
- Receive a full set of recommendations on how to conduct press interviews
and face-to-face interviews with the media.
Human Aspects / Compassion training workshops
Tragedy
can occur at any time, in any place and to any person. It is random and
sudden, it's impact is often devastating and life-changing. Those
affected will need assistance and support to survive the immediate
impact.
Those attending this workshop will:
- Gain an understanding of the issues those impacted by a crisis experience.
- How to respond with compassion and empathy to clients and staff.
- Explore coping mechanisms.
- Benefit from recent crisis experiences and case studies.
It is essential that all your staff are trained in appropriate procedures,
with background knowledge of the legal implications.
