We offer a variety of coaching options, all of which aim to help personal development.
Coaching is very different from mentoring; it aims to encourage the coachee
to look for the best course of action rather than being told what to do or given
a course of action. Coaches encourage individuals to identify their own goals
and help them develop their own strategies to achieve them. At the same time
the coach is there throughout the journey to provide support and encouragement.
We offer four types of coaching:
Leadership Coaching
We encourage leaders to think about their leadership style in a supportive
environment, hone their skills, create self awareness and provide a safe place
for them to try out and discuss new ideas.
Executive Coaching
One to one executive coaching provides business leaders with a unique independent
forum to explore their own personal development in a safe environment. Sessions
are held at their convenience in private and can cover anything from personal
effectiveness, business requirements or personal and career aspirations.
Whether they need to challenge their attitude, develop new working styles or
think about their leadership style - our coaches offer a non judgemental forum
for discussion and development of new ideas.
Manager as Coach
For companies looking to empower their employees, increase motivation and maximise
personal development, we help to train managers to take more of a coaching role.
We teach them the skills they need such as questioning, listening and being
non judgemental. Instead of giving a clear opinion on a course of action, managers
begin to encourage staff to develop their own solutions and approaches. Ultimately
this benefits the company by creating an empowered and motivated workforce.
Corporate Coaching
docleaf works with companies to develop managers of the future, helping to
instil a coaching culture within the organisation. The aim is to create more
